Main duties of the job Be responsible for the development and delivery of the IDS service, along with support for the provision of the Transfer of Care Hub (ToC Hub). Be responsible for service development, evaluation, research, and audit of Discharge Services in NBT. Provide Leadership and consultancy for discharge-related inquiries both within NBT and as a lead within the Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care System (ICS). Deputise for the Associate Director of Integrated Discharge in appropriate forums and support strategic development of Discharge Strategy across the ICS.
This role will require participation in the on-call rota which includes weekends and bank holidays as required.

Person Specification Experience Essential
2-years senior experience at an 8A or above in a healthcare setting. At least 4-years experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Desirable
2-years working in acute hospitals at a senior level of 8A or above. Experience of working in an operational role within an acute hospital.
Knowledge Essential
Masters level degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Desirable
Working towards a masters-level qualification in a related field. Working understanding of the challenges related to flow and discharge within and from hospitals.
