Head Resourcing are pleased to be working with a well-established professional body based in Edinburgh as they look to recruit a Head of IT. Our client has an overarching objective of leading excellence in their industry, and strive to be a world class professional body, serving the needs of its members as well as the public. This is an excellent opportunity to push through a transformation project that has already begun and lead the IT function into its future state.

Our client is a member-based organisation with around 15,000 members and 170 colleagues. In this role you will be responsible for eight IT colleagues, the wider transformation team, as well as providing exceptional IT services to the wider organisation. You will be expected to interpret the current IT strategy, lead all aspects of cyber security, drive innovation and efficiencies, and ensure smooth delivery of the IT transformation programme working closely with the programme team.

Required Skills:

Significant experience leading the successful implementation of an ERP system or best of breed solutions for medium to large scale organisations Proven understanding of cyber security concepts, accreditations, and trends Experience managing suppliers, IT procurement, and the implementation of new systems Experience in a senior management role, with demonstrable experience across multiple IT disciplines Excellent understanding of Microsoft environments (O365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune) Significant experience of managing an IT team Strong interpersonal skills

Nice to have: Knowledge of Dynamics CRM and Dynamics Business Central
