About the role The Head of IT Infrastructure is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of IT services to support business operations and growth. This role requires a strategic thinker and technical leader with deep expertise in IT infrastructure management, cloud services, networking, security, and team leadership. The Head of IT Infrastructure will develop and implement infrastructure strategies, manage the infrastructure team, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to align IT services with business needs. Responsibilities Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and customer service. Identify skill gaps within the team and implement training and development programs to enhance capabilities. Develop and execute the IT infrastructure strategy in alignment with business goals. Drive continuous improvement and innovation across infrastructure services, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid solutions. Own relationships with vendors and service providers. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of network services. Regularly test and update BCP/DR plans to align with evolving business requirements and infrastructure changes. Manage the on-call rota and act as an escalation point. Travel to other AerFin locations globally (approximately 10-20%). Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, and systems, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data management. Experienced in documenting IT services (e.g. via the ITIL standard) and monthly performance reporting (R/A/G) on service levels. Experience developing and implementing strategic IT plans and initiatives to support business growth and expansion. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of IT professionals. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
