Parkinson Lee Executive Search are partnering with a high growth fast paced business who are looking to appoint a commercial Senior L&D Professional to build and lead this function. This is a really exciting time to join the business. Private Equity owned it is now in a prime position to expand across the UK having recently appointed senior C suite individuals including the CPO to drive the business forward. The business has grown quickly by ensuring its customers are priority in every decision made, and ensuring its employees think about their customers before they think of anything else. The next stage in this journey is to ensure that the People strategy is the right one to deliver results quickly. About the Role

- Reporting directly to the CPO we are looking for a commercial thinking, results driven Head of Learning & Development. A hybrid role with some presence required in the office, you will be a core member of the People Leadership team and wider leadership group across the business. You will be an L&D expert, who has the capabilities to set up a department from scratch and lead and enable a high performing function covering all aspects of Learning and Development for all levels of employees. Responsibilities

- Initial Review and analysis of the businesses within the group to assess the requirements with the ability to then put together, propose and implement a full execution of the plan. Provide Strategic Direction: Lead the development of L&D strategies to ensure best practices and alignment with the group strategic objectives. Act as the cornerstone for the CPO, supplying crucial insights necessary to make informed decisions that shape the course of the business. Maintain a Competitive Edge: Keep the business ahead of the game by bringing up to date industry knowledge and market trends ensuring the business has a robust and competitive L&D offering for all employees. Engage stakeholders: Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders to translate concepts into implementation. Required Skills

- We are looking for someone who is a thoughtful and proactive leader: A leadership role model with proven experience in all areas of an L&D function, from start up through to growth models. You will have In-depth expertise in core L&D functions processes including designing and delivering training programs for high-performing talent and leadership teams, identifying training needs and development objectives for employees at all career stages, leadership development, creating and implementing blended learning solutions, utilising both in-house resources and external partnerships, manage and facilitate training programs across various formats, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid models. Ideally you will be from an industrial background with an understanding of the various key stakeholders this type of business has. Preferred Skills

- You will have a practical ‘hands on’ approach to L&D and be happy to roll up your sleeves particularly in the initial stages. You will need to work at pace with strong Attention to detail operating within a fast moving environment. You will have exceptional interpersonal communication skills and be comfortable with ambiguity and an ever changing environment. Pay range and compensation package
