We are currently seeking an inspirational and dedicated SEND professional to lead the team from September 2025, as the Head of Learning Support & Academic Development. This role is available on a 0.6FTE to full-time basis. Flexible hours available for the right candidate. You will join a dedicated teaching team, offering real choice of study from Year 7 to 11, alongside proven pastoral support and an important focus on student wellbeing. Working closely with experienced colleagues across the school, you will continue to develop and implement the senior school SEND strategy, ensuring that teaching and learning achievements, attitudes, and wellbeing of every child in senior school matters. A willingness to participate in the extra-curricular and pastoral life of our vibrant and dynamic school is essential. Key skills:

A qualified teacher with appropriate SEN qualification. Successful completion of the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENCO) within three years of commencing role. Psychometric testing qualification to carry out Exam Access Arrangements assessments and individual testing would be desirable.
