ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll ensure a clean and well-maintained environment for residents and staff. You'll handle various tasks within the care home and its gardens, from fixing a leaky tap to planting new bulbs. You should be comfortable working independently, leading a team, and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. Liaising with contractors for jobs outside your team's expertise is also essential. ABOUT YOU

With hands-on experience in property maintenance, you should have at least one trade skill and a proven ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks. Qualifications

The role requires at least one trade skill, such as plumbing or electrical work, and a proven ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks.
