We are seeking a
Head of Maintenance
to oversee the maintenance operations of a hotel in
Glasgow .
Salary & Terms
Monday to Friday, with flexibility to cover weekends and on-call duties Salary between £45,000 - £50,000 per year, depending on experience Work in a dynamic and fast-paced hospitality environment, managing a skilled team of maintenance professionals. Role & Responsibilities
Lead and manage the hotel maintenance team, ensuring efficient operation of all facilities and equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the life of hotel assets. Conduct regular inspections of hotel infrastructure, guestrooms, and common areas to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery to guests. Handle procurement of maintenance supplies and oversee budgeting to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards of quality. Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in a leadership role within hotel or facilities maintenance management Strong knowledge of building systems, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems Proven track record in preventive maintenance planning and cost management
