Head of Maintenance Location - Stourbridge, DY8 2TA Hours - Full-time 40 hours per week, permanent - Days Salary - £29,845 per annum ABOUT THE ROLE As a Head of Maintenance at a care home, you’ll ensure a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can perform their jobs effectively. Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is part of our client's commitment to delivering first-class care and support. You can expect plenty of variety as a Head of Maintenance. You’ll engage in various tasks within the care home building as well as in the gardens and grounds. This could involve fixing a leaky tap one minute and planting new bulbs the next. You should be comfortable working alone, leading a team, and supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning. Additionally, you will liaise with contractors on jobs that fall outside the expertise of your team. ABOUT YOU The well-being of our client's residents will be your number one priority as a Head of Maintenance. You’ll ensure all work is carried out with sensitivity to their needs. With hands-on experience in property maintenance, you’ll have at least one trade skill and, ideally, a proven ability to undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks. You should be reliable and flexible regarding your working hours. This role also requires a full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
