Head of Marketing - Performance Marketing/ Digital - Retail/ Home Furnishings

£45-55k +Bonus

Office based with flexibility over time (North Liverpool)


We are working closely with a leading retail / home furnishings brand committed to delivering exceptional products and experiences to customers in-home. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a proactive, results-driven Head of Marketing to spearhead their marketing strategy and elevate their brand presence whilst managing a team. You will be both strategic and hands-on and will have experience working across digital acquisition, lead generation and will be comfortable working closely with sales.


You will be instrumental in driving their marketing initiatives whilst closely collaborating with the Head of Sales. They are looking for an individual with strong initiative, self motivation and drive, who can analyse data deeply to tailor strategies that enhance customer engagement and lead generation, ultimately boosting sales.


Key Responsibilities of Marketing Team:


  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that align with sales goals and business objectives
  • Web Design & SEO: Optimise the website for user experience and search engine rankings to drive traffic
  • E-commerce Management: Enhance online shopping experiences and maximise conversion rates on all platforms
  • PPC Campaigns: Implement and manage paid lead generation campaigns, with a strong focus on PPC across Google and META
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with the Head of Sales to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with sales targets and to share insights on customer behaviour
  • Content Creation: Produce engaging content and manage brand messaging, utilising Adobe Creative Suite for visual design
  • Data Analysis: Dive into marketing data to assess campaign performance, derive actionable insights, and refine strategies based on results
  • Social Media & Email Marketing: Drive effective social media campaigns and targeted email marketing initiatives to boost customer retention and product awareness
  • Public Relations: Manage public relations efforts to build strong relationships with media and stakeholders.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role within a retail or B2C environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to delve into data and tailor marketing strategies based on results
  • Hands-on experience with PPC campaigns and digital marketing
  • Excellent creative skills, particularly in content creation and visual design
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, especially for working alongside sales leadership.
