Teesdale School and Sixth Form, part of the North East Learning Trust, is seeking to appoint a Head of Maths to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will share their genuine love of teaching and learning and their passion for their subject. Have relevant training and experience of successful teaching and learning, and the ability to deliver outstanding teaching experiences Possess the drive needed to lead a strong teaching team and deliver an excellent Maths education to all of our students Demonstrate a proven record of leading within Maths and achieving strong outcomes Exhibit a firm belief and strong commitment to children accessing an inclusive education Have a clear understanding of how children are motivated and learn effectively Employ a creative approach to encourage children to take ownership of their own learning Show energy, commitment, enthusiasm, and initiative – passion and drive Possess the ability to work collaboratively and flexibly as part of the Maths team
