We are looking for an exceptional candidate to fill the position of Head of Maths at our outstanding school in Camden. Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional Maths curriculum. Provide strategic direction and support to Maths teachers, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Monitor and evaluate student progress and attainment in Maths. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources. Mentor and support Maths teachers in their professional development. Contribute to the school's Maths program and extracurricular activities. Maintain accurate records of student data, including attendance, behavior, and achievements. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Specialization in Mathematics or a related field. Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education (preferred). Significant experience teaching Mathematics, preferably in a leadership role. Proven leadership and management abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics, with the ability to deliver outstanding lessons. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with advancements in Mathematics education.
