This is a permanent and full-time position, starting January 2025. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of Maths teaching experience, with a proven track record of success in delivering KS3-5 Maths. They will be an outstanding classroom practitioner and have the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best. The candidate will be responsible for leading and developing the Maths curriculum, as well as mentoring and supporting the Maths team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Maths department, setting and achieving high standards of teaching and learning. Develop and implement a challenging and engaging Maths curriculum. Mentor and support the Maths team, including providing professional development opportunities. Monitor and evaluate the progress and attainment of students, using data to inform teaching and learning. Contribute to the wider life and development of the school, including participating in school-wide initiatives and events. Key Requirements: A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Maths, with KS3-5 experience. Qualified and experienced Maths Teacher Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best Strong understanding of the latest educational research and trends.
