Head of Mechanical Fire Safety
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + Car Allowance (circa £575 per month)

My client who are a leading Fire and Security company are seeking a Head of Mechanical Fire Safety to join their team. You will be responsible for the management and development of the Mechanical Fire Safety Department across the UK, ensuring that all installations and planned servicing is delivered within budget on time and in line with customer & quality expectations.
Duties
Contract review of all mechanical project files for technical and contractual elements
Responsibility for projects to be delivered technically compliant and on budget and on time
Provide monthly Service and work bank forecast working to achieve monthly budget
Selection and monitoring of sub-contract labour, direct resource and suppliers
Liaising with client and engineers and sub-contractors for planning in work
Attend site meetings and regional offices when required
Additional management duties commensurate with your skills and experience
Ensure Health and Safety Compliance completing toolbox talks, health and safety audits (PPE, ladder, vehicle etc.), reporting accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences
Ensure Environmental Compliance
Ensure regular compliance to 3rd Party BS/EN Audits in line with company procedures
Develop and maintain the mechanical department folders
Requirements
Candidate Specification
Experience in a similar management role leading a team of Mechanical Engineers
Deep understanding of mechanical systems, with extensive experience in managing installations and maintenance.
Customer focused with the ability to resolve customer queries
Excellent management and computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Capable of working effectively under pressure in a deadline driven environment
Strong organisational stills
The ability to handle multiple priorities with a structured approach
Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
The ability to work independently and desire to learn
Benefits
Basic Salary £50-60,000 per annum
Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance subject to candidate preference. Circa £575 per month
