This fashion-forward brand is looking for an experienced and highly organised Head of Merchandising to lead their team reporting directly to and working closely with the Creative Director and CEO. About the Role:
Reporting directly to the CEO/CD Develop and implement a merchandising strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and market trends Collaborate with the Buying team to strategically develop the various ranges offered to customers On a seasonal basis, produce reports, forecasts, promotion and buying plans which will help drive company sales and profit Generate detailed reports which highlight the company’s trading performance and make changes where necessary Ensure optimal stock levels to minimise overstocking, balancing profitability and customer satisfaction Collaborate on budget plans and reforecasts with senior stakeholders Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform product and inventory decisions Overall management and motivation of the current team of 3 merchandisers About You:
7+ years experience working in a high end/luxury womenswear brand, at management level Confident, articulate, and able to influence at all levels with exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods Able to build and maintain productive relationships within a team environment
