Full-time, permanent position Lead and manage the Modern Foreign Languages department, overseeing curriculum development, teaching and learning, and assessment. Teach Modern Foreign Languages (e.g., French, Spanish, German) across Key Stages 3 and 4. Mentor and support a team of MFL teachers. Contribute to the strategic development of the MFL department. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning in MFL. Oversee the department's budget and resources. Promote language learning and encourage student participation in language-related extracurricular activities. The Ideal Candidate:
Possesses a strong academic background in Modern Foreign Languages, with a relevant degree. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Is a practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to the Catholic faith. Demonstrates a proven track record of successful MFL teaching and leadership. Is an enthusiastic and engaging leader with a genuine passion for languages. Has excellent subject knowledge across all key stages and language specialisms.
