Overview This leading repairer of damage to vehicles has seen phenomenal growth over the past 5 years, with a fleet of over 30 Mobile repair vans, a team of technicians, and a network of repairers. The business is positioned to grow three-fold over the next 5 years. To achieve this further growth, this client requires a strong Head of Mobile to work from the Southampton [Hampshire] office, to join and work alongside the current senior management team.

The Head of Mobile Repairs will have a strong management and operational background, experienced in managing large teams of Mobile Repair Technicians, ideally within vehicle body repairs. However, the client would consider candidates from other sectors with a large number of Mobile Repair Technicians, as the main requirement for this role is the ability to manage a large number of Mobile Technicians, work at a senior management level, and possess a strong operational mindset.

Responsibilities: Support and operations for a client base throughout the U.K., managing a team responsible for same-day repairs. Work alongside and report to both the Operations Director and MD. Review the business, processes, operations, and P&L of the division. Work closely with the current and new client repair network. Recommend strategies for profitable growth of the current Mobile Repair technician team. Advise on and support recruitment, training, mobile repair processes, stock, fleet, etc.

Experience: Managing teams of Mobile Repair based technicians throughout the U.K. Work at a Senior Management level, reporting to Director level. Strong Operational and Management skills to support and develop growth within the division. Manage and review recruitment and training methods for the repair technician team. Develop and grow the current mobile repair team and repair client/partner network. Review, assess, and analyze the methods and processes currently used within the mobile repair team, including pricing and profitability. Develop a clear vision and strategy for growth within the Mobile repair team.
