The Head of New Business is responsible for driving the company's new business growth, identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities. This strategic role involves developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets, with a strong focus on partner/customer acquisition and relationship building. Strategic support, tracking and forecasting

Support the Head of Sales and Customer Retention in development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities aligned with BHSF's vision and objectives. Support the setting annual sales plans, including target markets and KPIs. Own the measurement, tracking, reporting and analytics of KPIs and targets, utilising the CRM system. Design and implement robust systems for tracking leads, conversions, and sales metrics to optimise performance. Sales team leadership and management

Lead and coach a team of direct sales consultants. Lead and manage intermediary consultants to drive growth via intermediary partners. Lead regular team meetings to ensure your teams are fully supported to deliver both personal and team targets. Provide development, coaching and support to your team and ensure development of product knowledge and revenue performance. Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and guide decision-making. Conduct monthly 121s, developing a culture where training and development, wellbeing, motivation, and productivity are part of team life and are recorded in monthly performance reviews. Work cross-departmentally to align on marketing strategies, customer onboarding, and product delivery. Revenue Growth and Strategic partnership development

Spearhead initiatives to expand BHSF's reach into untapped markets, ensuring scalability and profitability. Drive measurable growth in revenue and market share by establishing a robust pipeline of opportunities, including your own larger value opportunities. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to ensure the sales strategy remains agile and competitive. Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operational teams to develop tailored solutions for strategic partners. Establish strategic partnerships that expand BHSF's service offerings and reach, leveraging industry networks and insights. Assess and mitigate risks associated with new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with company values and compliance standards. Ensure that Consumer Duty is embedded across the whole sales lifecycle. Represent BHSF at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build visibility and credibility.
