About Montu

Montu is a leading force in the cannabis industry with a mission to improve lives through innovative cannabis therapies. With operations across Europe, we are dedicated to providing seamless, integrated access to medical cannabis through an ecosystem that elevates patient care and sets new industry standards.

As a rapidly growing company, we’re scaling our team in the UK to drive the next phase of growth. With over 50 countries legalising medical cannabis, the potential for meaningful impact is vast – and Montu is at the forefront.

About the Role

Are you passionate about creating impactful digital campaigns and driving meaningful change in healthcare? We’re looking for an experienced and strategic-minded Head of Performance Marketing to oversee and grow our performance marketing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building Montu’s brand presence while improving lives through cannabis therapies. You’ll work with a supportive team to innovate and create campaigns that engage, inspire, and expand Montu’s reach in a regulated industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support a collaborative performance marketing team, managing campaigns across channels like Google, Facebook, and Instagram, and exploring additional channels as we grow.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our marketing, social media, and brand teams to craft digital marketing strategies that resonate with patients and build trust in our brand.
  • Conduct A/B testing and campaign optimisation, continuously refining our approach to drive meaningful return on investment (ROI) and long-term value.
  • Analyse campaign performance with a detailed, hypothesis-driven approach to generate insights that inform future strategies.
  • Manage evolving budgets with agility, adjusting for trends, market changes, and campaign performance.
  • Track the entire customer journey and collaborate with UX, product, and clinical teams to refine our offerings and support patient satisfaction and advocacy.
  • Forecast demand across multiple channels, coordinating with influencers and our team to maintain balance between our message and resources.
  • Work alongside the marketing and PR teams to brainstorm and execute innovative ideas that amplify Montu’s reach in a highly regulated market.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years in digital marketing, with hands-on experience leading campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Proficient in English, with business-level German.
  • A passion for data and insights, paired with strong analytical skills to measure campaign success.
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, with the ability to translate data into strategies for optimisation.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills with an adaptable, inclusive approach to cross-team collaboration.
  • Highly organised with a positive, detail-oriented mindset, comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and make proactive adjustments as needed.
  • Experience in regulated industries is a plus, and familiarity with healthcare or wellness is beneficial.

Why Join Montu?

At Montu, we believe in improving lives through cannabis therapies and setting new standards in cannabis care. You’ll be joining a supportive, forward-thinking team in an industry that’s growing rapidly. As we expand, you’ll have the chance to lead meaningful projects, shape our brand, and make a real difference in healthcare.

What You’ll Get

  • 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Generous pension scheme with employer matching contributions up to 5%.
  • Cross-functional collaboration opportunities, including representing Montu at industry events, trade shows, and awards.
  • Work-from-home flexibility and a cycle-to-work scheme.
