The role will involve a combination of office-based and fieldwork; travel may be required to meet clients and attend events. This is a fast-paced, target-driven environment requiring flexibility and adaptability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join Pharmacy Specialists in a pivotal leadership capacity, shaping the pharmacy sales strategy and driving significant business growth. The Position As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share for the pharmacy division. This role involves building a team of sales professionals, managing key accounts, and building long-term relationships with clients, healthcare providers, and distributors. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the organization’s goals. Identify new market opportunities and growth areas within the pharmaceutical sector. Set sales targets and KPIs for the sales team and monitor progress. Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing pharmacy sales team. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including current & prospective pharmacy owners. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with clients and suppliers. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to inform sales strategies. Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management. Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the pharmaceutical industry. Work closely with marketing teams to align sales campaigns with promotional strategies. Coordinate with the supply chain and operations team to ensure timely product availability. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. The Person A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not essential. Strong commercial acumen. Proven track record in a leadership role, managing sales teams and achieving targets. Knowledge of the Pharmacy Sector preferred. Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data, forecast trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
