We are seeking a
Head of Physics
who will lead the Physics Department, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning from Year 7 to GCE A Level. Responsibilities include: Curriculum development Effective planning Resource management Fostering a passion for Physics among students The role also involves promoting the school’s ethos and reputation, both internally and externally, while maintaining professional standards. Additionally, the Head of Physics will contribute to the wider school community, fulfilling academic, pastoral, and boarding duties as directed by the Head. Salary and Benefits: Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. Free meal while on duty during term time. Contributory pension scheme. Free on-site parking. Use of swimming pool and gym. About Stonar: Stonar is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18, rated excellent by ISI in October 2018 for both pupil achievement and personal development - a standard maintained in our recent 2023 inspection.
