To be accountable for the day-to-day management of all Adult Physical Health Planned Care services across Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust ensuring that services are provided to the highest quality and standards within the resources that are available. To work collaboratively and in partnership with community-based managers and the other services to ensure operations seamlessly and robustly in accordance with operational plans and procedures. To provide a high-level managerial contribution in ensuring that the Trust succeeds in achieving national targets and ratings (e.g. CQC). To contribute to, facilitate, and chair a wide variety of professional and managerial training forums and meetings as required and requested. To delegate appropriate responsibility and authority to the level of staff consistent with effective decision-making whilst retaining responsibility and accountability for the results.
