Head of Private Client

Job Title: Head of Private Client Salary: Highly Competitive Salary Location: Brighton A fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client, a leading law firm in Brighton. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Solicitor to join and head up a highly reputable Private Client department which currently stands at 22 strong. The successful candidate will most likely be at Senior Associate or Partner level and will have some experiences managing other fee earners or managing a team while continuing to work on your own caseload. Duties include: Leadership and management of the Private Client department Proactively networking within the team to bring on new business and generate an excellent reputation. Independently managing own caseload of private client matters Responsible for providing high quality, timely, professional advice. Visiting clients in their own environment Mentoring and coaching more junior members of the team The successful candidate will have: Extensive post-qualified experience handling an array of Private Client matters of varying complexities Proven management capabilities, either leading a team or managing a department A Professional pro-active approach, strong client care skills and a sensitive and sympathetic understanding of clients’ needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Package: Highly Competitive Salary Competitive Annual leave Life Insurance Good company pension Dog friendly office days Flexible working (40% in office 60% from home) Join this highly reputable firm that is one of Brighton’s largest legal practices.
