Job Description

This role is a unique opportunity to define procurement strategies, establish supplier partnerships, and ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing, all while driving Kerakoll's commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Strategy and Planning: Lead the procurement strategy for Kerakoll's new plant setup, ensuring all materials and services are acquired on time and within budget. Develop a procurement roadmap aligned with Kerakoll's strategic goals, establishing objectives for supplier partnerships and risk management. Supplier Management: Conduct regular visits to supplier facilities and build strong, collaborative relationships with key partners to uphold Kerakoll's standards. Implement a supplier performance evaluation system, focusing on quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Negotiate long-term contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms, pricing, and delivery schedules, while managing potential risks. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, R&D, Finance, and Project Management teams to ensure alignment of procurement timelines with project milestones for seamless execution. Compliance and Sustainability: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to regulatory and environmental standards, and drive Kerakoll's sustainable procurement practices across the supply chain. Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage the procurement budget, monitor costs, and leverage market insights to identify savings opportunities while controlling spending. Digital Transformation: Lead the adoption of digital procurement tools to enhance efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making at Kerakoll. Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture aligned with Kerakoll's values. Conduct training sessions and monitor KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and effective procurement practices. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments of critical suppliers and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply disruptions, ensuring business continuity for Kerakoll. The Successful Applicant

Requirements

Proven experience in procurement management, ideally within new plant setups or large-scale projects. Expertise in supplier relationship management, market analysis, and budget control. Proficiency in digital procurement tools and analytics for strategic decision-making. Excellent negotiation skills and commitment to sustainable practices.
