Working on behalf of our client, a leading M & E Contractor, we are looking to recruit a Head of Procurement to join their team.
Key Duties:
Play a crucial role in leading and continuing to build the procurement department.
Managing a small team, you will oversee the Group’s procurement, including building relationships with key suppliers, achieving best purchasing, forecasting cost trends, resolving supplier issues and developing team members.
The role will also have responsibility of negotiating and building subcontractor packages and engaging in the ongoing management of the subcontractors.
Working as part of the Senior Management Team, you will have input into all areas of the business, supporting growth and providing strategic insight.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
Minimum of 3 years experience in procurement
Experience in the Engineering sector
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
