Job Description ** This role will be based out of our Belfast Tech Hub at least 2 days per week ** The Head of Product Management at ASOS is a pivotal leadership role within our Product organisation, responsible for defining and delivering a portfolio of high-impact products that align with ASOS's business objectives. In this role you will lead, coach and mentor a team of Product Managers, supporting and empowering them to deliver customer-centric solutions that drive measurable impact. This role will oversee our Brands & Strategic Plays focus area. This will involve relaunching Topshop.com as a standalone digital experience, managing teams focused on developing market-specific customer experiences, and overseeing the creation of features for strategic product categories across the ASOS platform. As a Head of Product Management, you will own the vision for your product portfolio, ensuring alignment with ASOS's strategic goals. You will guide Product Managers in solving complex challenges, making informed decisions, and advancing their skills. This role demands both strategic oversight and a hands-on approach to delivering customer-focused solutions. Key responsibilities Topshop relaunch: Lead the relaunch of the Topshop store as a standalone digital experience, ensuring it embodies the Topshop brand while leveraging ASOS's technological expertise to create an exceptional user experience. Market-specific experiences: Manage teams responsible for building tailored experiences for key markets, focusing on local preferences, cultural nuances, and customer behavior to maximize engagement and growth. Strategic categories: Oversee the development of features for high-priority product categories, ensuring that these enhancements drive customer satisfaction, competitive differentiation, and revenue growth. Develop and own the long-term vision and strategy for the Brands & Strategic Plays portfolio, ensuring alignment with ASOS's overall business objectives and customer needs. Play an active role in hiring and onboarding new Product Managers, building a strong, diverse, and high-performing team. Mentor and coach Product Managers, fostering professional growth, problem-solving capabilities, and strategic thinking. Champion a customer-first mindset, ensuring that all product development efforts are grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors. Define success metrics for your product portfolio and track performance against these goals. Use data-driven insights to iterate and improve product features. Act as the primary product representative for your portfolio, communicating progress, priorities, and risks to senior leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including marketing, design, data, and customer service-to ensure product initiatives align with broader business strategies and deliver cohesive customer experiences. Qualifications What we are looking for: Proven product leader: demonstrated success in leading product teams and delivering products in complex, customer-centric environments. Customer-centric approach: deep understanding of customer behaviors and a track record of creating products that exceed customer expectations. Data-driven & analytical: strong ability to set KPIs, measure performance, and use insights to inform strategic decisions and product iterations. Strategic thinker: capable of aligning long-term product strategies with business goals while managing seamless execution across teams. Collaborative & communicative: skilled at working across technical and non-technical teams, with excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
