Key Responsibilities: Represents the company, ensuring brand and reputation remain in the upper quartile. The job holder must work closely with clients and suppliers and create trust and loyalty without compromising our own high ethics, compliance and standards. Lead and direct engineering disciplines in the production of project deliverables such as designs, calculations, specifications, proposals, drawings and other documentation as required and to be responsible for their compliance with the company's quality procedures and tender/contract documents. Demonstrate a strong motivating leadership style which values teamwork with open and honest communications. Working and keeping to designs and plans is critical, but the job holder must have the ability to lead teams through change safely, not compromising quality, ethics or standards. To lead, direct, review and monitor projects, reporting back in a timely and efficient way, with no surprises to the company or clients. To manage, promote and maintain the company's relationship with the client by means of meetings, correspondence and other various modes of communications. To direct the site team in delivering our scope of work in accordance with the scope of work, budget and within the agreed project programme. To manage the subcontractors and suppliers including reviewing scope of work, authorising orders/subcontracts, approving invoices, monitoring performance and authorising variations. To provide regular updates to Senior Management about the progress of tenders/projects and their status in view of the programme, budget and risk. Experience/Skills: Can demonstrate success in similar roles, especially associated with the water industry. Previous history of successfully leading teams of professional engineers on complex works. Financial Management of projects. Planning, programming and coordinating major works. Desirable if experienced in managing overseas projects.
