As our Head of Projects, you will take a dynamic approach to reviewing all projects, on a daily basis, with members of the project management team, with a view to keeping all projects on track. You will be the ‘go-to’ person within the team for everything involving a project’s organisation and timeline(s) are met within company policy and to produce the desired result. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will report back on any project-related recommendations and escalate matters that need attention or adjustment at the earliest opportunity. Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivery of every project on time and within budget and scope. Manage internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects. Plan resource to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Develop project scopes based on objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Measure project performance using internal systems, tools and techniques. Report and escalate matters that need raising to leadership as needed. Manage relationships, collaborate across teams, clients and stakeholders. Perform risk management to minimise project risks. Be customer facing and attend site and events as/where needed. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with the iconsys quality management and document structure. Other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis, along with 10 years’ experience in a similar management role. Advanced Microsoft Project, along with strong knowledge of other Microsoft packages. Applicants must come from an Automation background. Effective communicator, written and verbal. Be customer-facing and able to easily build a rapport. Situational adaptability and problem-solving capability. Ability to oversee department budgets and ensure profitability. Team player as well as able to work on own initiative. Special Requirements

Based at the office in Telford, Shropshire. Travel within the UK and overseas. Working beyond normal hours in order to meet any required deadlines. Remuneration Package
