About the Role:
As the Head of Property, you will play a key leadership role within a small but collegiate and proactive law firm known for its strong management and clear vision. This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow the property department, develop the firm’s brand, and manage a diverse caseload of residential and commercial property matters. Your work will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, driving business development, and delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Department Development:
Lead the strategic growth of the property department, enhancing its reputation and market presence. Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Legal Expertise:
Handle a broad range of residential and commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and refinancing. Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring the highest standards of service and compliance.
Business Development & Brand Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers, and stakeholders to generate new business. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the firm’s property brand and market position.
Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property department, ensuring efficiency and profitability. Monitor and manage budgets, targets, and performance metrics for the team.
