This role will be covering a broad remit within the purchasing / procurement space. Someone with experience in a similar role will be essential, and anyone who is currently a buyer / senior buyer or in a sales position will not be suitable.
Any suitable candidate will require the following:
Experienced in the engineering / electronics industry
Leading a team of buyers, implementing KPI’s and strategy to the wider team
Prepared to work onsite and occasionally travel overseas if required to meet suppliers
Strategic skills and a proven track record in contract negotiation
Proven track record in a high volume manufacturing environment
