Allen & York are delighted to be working with Prolectric, the UK's leading provider of Solar Street lighting and Solar only tower lights and Solar Hybrid power solutions. The company are in an exciting period of growth and now have a demand for a new Health & Safety, Quality Manager to lead the function and place Safety at the centre of the business.


Reporting to the Managing Director and working as part of the leadership team this role will ensure that all operations and stakeholders are familiar and aware of their responsibilities towards safety and there is a collective buy-in to the agenda.


The role will include assessing risks throughout the company, creating policy and working practices to ensure standards are met as well as creating a strong working culture of ownership. This will include ensuring all employees educated and are aware of their responsibilities and will also include reporting into management to provide updates and statistics.


Candidates should have a background of Health & Safety, in a management capacity and setting up new systems, audit programmes etc. You should be qualified to Diploma level but there is flexibility as experience is important in this role. Experience working with management systems is advantageous as would is an auditing qualification.


Candidates will have experience of working with construction engineering or manufacturing or similar with a flexible approach to travel as required. Candidates should be within a commutable distance of the Clevedon Head Office in North Somerset.
