Head of Quality Assurance
(QP would be ideal). The Role
The primary function of this role is leadership and strategy. The client would like someone comfortable with the intricacies of a transforming company, and who can both modernise and update the business's legacy QMS to help remain effective against modern regulations and trends. Ideally, the new Head of Quality would have been in an environment where they have led remediation projects and teams as the business is at the tail end of this procedure and could use someone to help ensure this isn't somewhere they end up again. This Head of Quality will have a real seat at the table and be someone who has both the ear of the Managing Director and also a complete oversight of all areas of Quality Assurance. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to make real change and have autonomous input into a small, well-established organisation. The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role would be: Experienced in pharmaceutical GMP environments from a QA standpoint Quality Assurance Leadership experience for 7+ years in a manufacturing environment Extensive QMS improvement exposure Preferably some exposure to companies going through remediation Ideally someone that is a QP (Qualified Person for batch release) who is already on a GMP licence in the UK for solid oral dosages Must reside in the UK and have worked for a UK company in Quality Assurance Remuneration
This role is offering 50K - 70K per year as Head of Quality Assurance or up to 110K for a QP / Head of Quality plus benefits.
