Salary - £71,322 - £75,631 (Grade 11)

We are seeking a Head of Safeguarding and Ageing Well to take on a critical leadership role within our Disabilities and Mental Health Service in the City of Wolverhampton.
In this role, you will drive the strategic and operational development of safeguarding and ageing well services, ensuring they are compliant, person-centred, and of the highest quality. You will work closely with internal and external partners to innovate, transform, and align services with local and national priorities, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will:
Lead the strategic and operational development of Safeguarding and Ageing Well services, ensuring the highest standards of provision.
Determine the strategic direction of the service, anticipating changes, and evaluating risks and opportunities in partnership with health.
Foster a high-performance culture within the service, ensuring efficiencies, continuous improvement, and value for money in budget management.
Provide leadership to the workforce, ensuring effective deployment, support, training, and qualification for health and social care priorities.
Develop and implement service plans, ensuring quality services meet local and national targets, statutory compliance, and continuous engagement with stakeholders.
Maintain effective working relationships with all partners, ensuring seamless joint working and comprehensive quality assurance systems.
Be an integral member of the Adult Leadership Team.
