The Head of Safety & Risk Management will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the safety, health, and risk management strategy. You will lead the development, implementation, and execution of comprehensive plans focused on enhancing safety standards, minimizing risks, and ensuring continuous service improvement. As a key advisor, you’ll influence strategic decisions and foster a culture of safety and risk awareness across the organization. The Ideal Candidate

They are looking for candidates with experience in a similar role, as well as: Chartered Membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH), or Certified Membership of the Institute of Risk Management (CMIRM), ideally with 5 years post qualification experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in an Occupational Health and Safety related discipline Holds a current CSCS White Card or is prepared to immediately attain P405 Management of Asbestos in Buildings Qualification, or willing to work towards Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) Qualification, or willing to work towards NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety (or equivalent) and Professional Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers (or equivalent), or willing to work towards Legionella Responsible Person / Duty Holder in Hot and Cold Water Systems City & Guilds (or equivalent), or willing to work towards NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction Certificate (or equivalent), or willing to work towards What’s in it for you?
