Join the Close Brothers Vehicle Hire Team where you will support the Sales Director in all existing business transactions as well as new sales project initiatives that are being onboarded. This includes the overseeing and development/integration into the core business. Our ideal team member will be prepared to attend off-site meetings, specific customer, and vendor initiatives, and ensure all required actions are complete. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensuring personal and departmental standards are met regarding sales targets, conversion of sales, and cancellation rates. Attend off-site meetings with the Sales Director to support new projects and direction in line with the business requirements. New business acquisitions support and planned integration into the core business. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the organisation. Communicate on behalf of the Sales Director. Complete presentations and reports for the Board of Directors on new sales initiatives. Work with the Sales Directors and GSMs of Sales to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet monthly revenue goals. Manage and develop the CRM system in line with the business direction, including new projects and integration with new systems (i.e., ERP). Report/present to the Sales Director and other senior directors/managers at the Ilkeston Office once a week to update progress and results, discuss marketing campaigns, and provide an overview of department activities. Producing documents, reports, and presentations when required. Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, filing, etc. Handling and filing confidential documentation. Assisting the Sales Director to communicate relevant information with the team. Team events/outings. Liaise with and support the administration team, ensuring good communication with team members and effective administration is completed for business purposes. Reflect and report on team progress in terms of vehicle orders and deliveries. Liaise with and support the promotional team, ensuring good communication with team members and effective administration is completed for business purposes. Ensure all marketing is up to date by liaising directly with Group Marketing. Ensure all legal requirements are met in terms of data protection. Involvement with projects for the business where required. Oversee Marketing projects regarding adherence to branding. Ad Hoc tasks as and when requested. Sales activity compliance - Ensure that all required Sales-focused governance and compliance obligations are adhered to. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE: Previous knowledge and experience in a Senior sales/office management role or similar with a proven track record of driving process change. Reliability and discretion. Previous knowledge and experience of CRM Management, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Minute taking, Marketing and events. The ability to multi-task & prioritize tasks. Excellent planning skills & great attention to detail. Good initiative and problem-solving skills. Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads. Strong interpersonal skills. IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU: Have proficient use of Microsoft office tools. Have experience in Business Writing. Have experience in Business Administration and knowledge of Business Management.
