We are looking for an outstanding, industry experienced Head of Sales to join our New Installations team, who will report to our Head of New Installations. This role will build long-term relationships with industry leading contractors, developers and clients in addition to leading the New Installation EOX, Escalator and Major Projects Sales teams.

As a Head of Sales – New Installations, your day to day will include:

  1. Maximise new lift sales through supporting the sales teams through prospecting new business, dealing with current repeat business customers and internal leads.
  2. Assist in producing major project tenders for projects in line with customer requirements.
  3. Closely monitor negotiations and adapt to changes in customer requirements to meet desired levels of business with the sales teams.
  4. Lead, mentor and support the sales team, driving best practice sales activities.
  5. Assist the sales team to negotiate company agreed terms and conditions where required.
  6. Produce customer account development plans and regular forecasts of expected business order intake.
  7. Work cross functionally with installation & service teams to help develop the ideal solution for the customer and ensure protection and growth of portfolios.
  8. Be responsible for the tender and order booking process.
  9. Sign off and approve all EOX, Escalator and Major Project costings in line with TKE regulations and escalate to senior management where required.
  10. Own and update the major projects cost forecast.
  11. Prepare annual budgets for upstream management approvals.
  12. Lead Major Projects client sales meetings.
  13. Own and develop the Major Projects and Escalator client facing tender document templates and internal document templates.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Experience creating and delivering company wide sales strategy
  2. Commercially driven to achieve outstanding results
  3. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a high degree of self-confidence and a strong desire for achievement
  4. Sales based elevator & escalator engineering experience
  5. Good knowledge of the Construction and elevator & escalator industry
  6. Previous experience leading a sales team
  7. A strong relationship builder
  8. Highly motivated and energetic
  9. Ability to initiate, take ownership and drive change
  10. Excellent time management skills, highly organised, approachable and flexible
  11. Strong organisational and people skills
  12. Attention to detail
  13. Pro-active, driven by results and looking to go the extra mile
