Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional looking for an exciting sales leadership role in Ayrshire? Our client is an established, growth driven organisation and is seeking a Head of Sales to join its forward-thinking team as they embark on their next phase of growth.


About the Role

As Head of Sales, you will report directly to the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in the organisation's ongoing success. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities, driving revenue, and ensuring operational effectiveness across multiple divisions.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering commercial strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Supporting the MD in strategic planning and execution.
  • Managing and motivating team to ensure collaboration and performance across clients.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
  • Leading efforts to generate new revenue streams and grow the customer base.


Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a commercial senior sales role within the private sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong track record in business-to-business account management and development.


Desirable:

  • Business-related qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of budgets and P&L management.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to inspire teams and foster collaboration. Key skills include strong planning and time management, exceptional communication abilities, and a keen commercial acumen.
