Interim Headteacher

to join a dedicated team at a small specialist school supporting students aged 10-16 with SEND. This interim role offers the opportunity to lead a team of skilled teaching and therapeutic staff in providing tailored academic and therapeutic support in a calm, nurturing environment. The position is to start

as soon as possible

and will run until

Easter 2025 , with the potential to extend until the end of the academic year.

About the Role

Daily rate:

275-350, dependent on experience (DOE). Work with a team committed to overcoming barriers to learning and inspiring young people to achieve their potential. Lead the creation of a stimulating, inclusive learning environment that fosters engagement, trust, and progress for every student. Drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of the school during this critical interim period. About the School

Proven leadership experience in a SEND or alternative provision setting. Strong understanding of SEND frameworks, challenges, and strategies for success. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration with staff, students, and families. A commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment that prioritises student well-being and progress. Application Requirements for Spencer Clarke Group

You must be willing to attend a registration interview. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these. INDSCG1
