Job Title: Head of Security – E&I

Salary: £84,400 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- You will be responsible for the delivery of Protective Security disciplines across the Europe & International (E&I) Line of Business, both domestically and internationally covering Physical, Personnel, Technical and Cyber Security domains
- You will provide specialist advice into the Head of Security- Air Sector and E&I senior leadership team
- You will lead delivery of the BAE Systems Security Strategy across the E&I Line of Business
- Establish and maintain critical internal and external stakeholder relationships to inform appropriate risk management strategies against identified core threat vectors
- You will also provide central point of escalation for critical security risk into the E&I board and Sector Security Team, in addition to business reporting cycles
- You will represent BAE Systems UK and International Security Working Groups, representing the interests of BAE Systems and Industry key partners
- Identify key security threats and risks related to the conduct of these businesses, providing the necessary analysis, assessment, prevention, assurance and response activities required to manage those security risks to an acceptable level
- Lead and develop mechanisms to ensure contractual Security requirements are fully captured, understood and implemented – including the flow-down of requirement to, and continued assurance of the E&I supply chain
Your skills and experiences:
- Proven experience in providing senior security leadership in the Government sector or commercial organisations bound by HMG standards
- In-depth knowledge of HMG and industry standard security policy, standards and good practice guidance
- Proven ability to operate in complex, ambiguous and dynamic environments
- Experience of operating in multi-national or cross-jurisdictional teams

The Security team:
The successful candidate will lead a rapidly growing team, with a responsibility to provide a range of protective security solutions and outputs to the E&I business; securing the Hawk and Eurofighter platforms is at the core of the post. There will be a requirement to liaise extensively with a range of stakeholders and will involve international travel opportunities.
