Head of SEO

As Head of SEO, you will report directly to our Founder, who is transitioning to a business development role, and you’ll have the opportunity to build a supporting team around you. You’ll play a key role in building relationships with c-suite executives and business owners, so a strong alignment with our values of honesty, integrity and enthusiasm is essential. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead the development and delivery of SEO strategies for a variety of clients across different industries. Take a hands-on approach to provide clients with high-end optimisations, reports, and recommendations. Build strong relationships with clients, taking the lead on day-to-day contact. Manage and mentor the SEO team, fostering a culture of continuous learning. Perform key SEO tasks, including keyword research, content strategy, and outreach, ensuring measurable results. Develop and refine your own operational processes to drive efficiency, ensuring smooth workflows and consistent, quality outcomes. Skills and Experience Required: 5+ years of SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting Comprehensive knowledge across all areas of SEO, including strategy, technical, content, authority building, and digital PR. Strong understanding of cost optimisation and profitability within SEO projects Proficient in SEO tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs Skilled at communicating the connection between SEO efforts and measurable outcomes to clients. Proven ability to build and nurture lasting client relationships. Experience in leading and developing a team of SEO professionals Familiar with the synergies between SEO, PPC, and social media marketing. Demonstrated track record of achieving tangible SEO results. Solid expertise in Google Analytics and data-driven decision making.
