Key Responsibilities:

As the Head of Service Sales, you will be at the forefront of driving our recurring revenue growth strategy, aiming for impressive double-digit increases in new sales while implementing proactive retention programs to minimize attrition and maximize our share of wallet. This senior leadership role demands a proven track record of success in navigating a matrix environment and effectively guiding cross-functional teams toward enterprise-wide success. You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, operations, central functions, and product/solutions teams to achieve these goals.

You will lead the design and development of compelling service value propositions tailored to our customer segmentation strategy. This includes crafting clear user stories and proof points that address customer pain points. You’ll work directly with our Commercial Director to evolve our portfolio of offerings, ensuring alignment with customer segments so that our sales teams can effectively position our services and encourage customer commitment. Additionally, you will define impactful campaigns and go-to-market strategies while continuously gathering market data and customer insights for ongoing improvement.

Connected Services:

Your role will involve driving our remote and connected services strategy, ensuring that all Chubb offerings are interconnected—whether through monitoring, remote assistance, or mobile engagement. You’ll spearhead segment-based campaigns that keep customers engaged with the latest technologies, enhancing retention through continuous service improvements. Leading the ROI for these connected services will be essential as you create compelling upgrade solutions for our customers.

You will implement active customer retention initiatives aimed at increasing retention rates by at least 200 basis points annually. These programs will be strategically aligned with customer segmentation and executed through well-defined go-to-market strategies that evaluate lifetime value while integrating our service value proposition and connected offerings to ensure customer success.

Cross-Sell and Upsell:

Your mission includes developing a structured approach for cross-selling and upselling our portfolio based on genuine value creation. This involves creating an engagement process that simplifies how customers do business with us, including transitioning agreements into subscription-based contracts aligned with our segmentation strategy.

Sales & Marketing Team Coaching:

Engaging with sales and marketing teams to incorporate the voice of the customer into our strategies will be crucial. You’ll leverage insights to coach teams on enhancing the effectiveness of our service offerings while collaborating with Learning & Development to create platforms that foster a deeper understanding of customer needs.

Performance Management:

You will own service growth performance through a defined set of KPIs—both quantitative and qualitative—challenging sales and business leaders on performance execution. Identifying root causes for performance issues and establishing aligned improvement actions will be key to your success.

Qualifications:

Proven leadership in sales/marketing with demonstrable growth results.

Experience in large-scale value proposition creation and effective go-to-market structures.

Familiarity with connected technologies.

Strong matrix leadership capabilities.

Critical Skills:

Strategic Leadership:

Ability to drive strategy from conception to execution.

Coaching Expertise:

Engage, support, and mentor peers and senior leaders.

Team Collaboration:

Excel in adding value across multi-functional teams.

Effective Communication:

Lead with clear, engaging communication.

Strategic Thinking:

Simplify complex problems while planning both short-term and long-term.

Tech Savvy:

Confidently navigate technology platforms and solutions.

Customer-Centric Mindset:

Prioritize user experience and value addition.

Innovative Problem Solving:

Approach challenges with creativity.

In this pivotal role, you will not only shape the future of service sales but also drive significant growth and innovation within the organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in transforming how we engage with customers and enhance their experience through strategic service offerings.
