Head of Services (North and Central) Home-based within the North or Central region of England The Organisation Our client is a membership network for community organisations. They are now looking for a Head of Services to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. The Role As the Head of Services, you will inspire and motivate our client’s teams across Central and Northern England to deliver high quality support and business advice to community organisations, Local Authorities and other partners. Specifically, you will identify and build income-generating business streams, manage a service delivery/consultancy team, and develop relevant services to engage with members across the North and Central regions. You will also influence and shape the operating environment, driving towards core income targets and contributing to their strategic goal to strengthen community organisations. About You To be considered as the Head of Services (North and Central), you will need: Experience designing and delivering consultancy services A proven track record in business development, innovation, management, and delivery A history of successfully winning contracts and funding bids In-depth knowledge of areas such as business support, strategic planning, governance, community engagement, or housing and regeneration Strong team development skills with the ability to deploy resources effectively and profitably Excellent budgetary, financial, and communication skills As this is an unusual role, our client strongly encourages applicants to join them for a digital open day on Tuesday 28th January at 3pm which will be held on Zoom.
