Head of Sixth Form

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Head of Sixth Form to join our school. The Head of Sixth Form is a pivotal position which helps to set the academic and pastoral tone of the school. It is a role which requires knowledge, understanding and empathy with the students in the Sixth Form. The ability and willingness to think creatively and generate enthusiasm in the Sixth Form will be crucial. The successful candidate will work closely with the SLT as part of an extended leadership team and will play a key role in promoting the Sixth Form at Prior’s Field. This is a teaching position, where the successful candidate will have a significant reduction in their timetable in order to perform their Head of Sixth Form duties. We welcome applications from teachers of all subject areas, but we would be particularly interested in teachers of Biology, Maths, Drama or an EPQ Coordinator.
