Salary: £64,887 per annum Location: Fife We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, and results-driven leader to join our team, overseeing the end-to-end design and delivery of technological solutions that drive meaningful business value. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on, ensuring that solutions are designed with deep understanding of the business needs and are delivered with precision and efficiency. The Role Reporting to the Assistant Principal - Improvement, Insight & Brand, this is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to lead a multidisciplinary team spanning planning, improvement, service design and delivery, insights and project management. In this pivotal role, you will drive collaboration across the business, managing a diverse and complex portfolio of projects while leveraging data to optimise outcomes and inform strategic decisions. Key responsibilities include: Innovative Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of innovate technological solutions that align with our business goals and strategic objectives; Project Delivery Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of technological solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers and analysts, and other key stakeholders to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions; Data-Drive Insights: Drive the development and implementation of predictive analytics and AI-driven models to enhance decision-making, optimise operations, and support strategic planning. Qualifications and Experience - what we’re looking for: Educated to degree level or with demonstrable relevant professional experience at SCQF level 9 or above. (Preferably in Computing, Information Technology, Business or related field). Significant experience in technology solution design and delivery, with proven track record of leading large-scale projects in a complex business environment. Experience in managing teams and delivering solutions in an Agile environment. Strong understanding in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with experience of turning insights into action. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
