Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement, this role oversees a team dedicated to category management and fulfillment, focusing on maximizing value, achieving sustainable savings, and aligning procurement practices with business objectives. Job Description Key Responsibilities Category Management:
Develop and implement category strategies that align with the organization's goals, focusing on long-term sustainability and short-term results. Lead market analysis to identify trends and mitigate risks. Team Leadership:
Oversee the category and fulfillment teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Develop talent through mentorship, training, and succession planning. Operational Excellence:
Streamline fulfillment processes to ensure efficiency and scalability, focusing on continuous improvement. Stakeholder Management:
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and key suppliers, to align procurement strategies with organizational needs. Performance & Risk Management:
Ensure category and fulfillment activities align with organizational standards, mitigate risks, and stay ahead of industry trends. The Successful Applicant Qualifications & Experience Extensive procurement experience in a leadership capacity Proven track record of developing and executing strategic procurement plans Strong supplier relationship management skills Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards CIPS qualification or equivalent professional experience What's on Offer Salary: £90,000 Potential Bonus £5,000 car allowance Other benefits and pension.
