At Unrest, we’re not just a company, we're a movement dedicated to challenging the status quo by valuing impact as much as profits. Our mission is to inspire and support mission-driven entrepreneurs to create a better world. We launched our accelerator programme in 2021, aimed at mission-driven, consumer businesses. Since then, we have supported 62 companies and over 100 founders, partnered with over 40 delivery partners and over 50 VC funds, and have built a network of over 2,000 values-aligned individual contributors and angels. We have always believed in the power of collective action. We are now looking to formalise and expand our partnerships with values-aligned organisations, and to establish mutually valuable relationships with corporate sponsors. Role Overview: The Head of Sponsorship & Partnerships will spearhead the establishment of new partnership capabilities within Unrest. This will include identifying and securing sponsorship revenue, expanding our network of ecosystem partners, and nurturing existing partnerships. This role requires a seasoned professional with experience in securing sponsorship and a deep understanding of building long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Sponsorship Acquisition : Lead the sponsorship strategy by identifying key sponsorship opportunities and securing financial and in-kind support for Unrest’s programme, initiatives, and events. Partnership Development : Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with brands, businesses, and organisations that align with Unrest’s mission and values. Proposal & Pitch Development : Craft compelling partnership proposals and sponsorship packages that outline value propositions, deliverables, and ROI for prospective sponsors and partners. Relationship Management : Maintain and nurture strong relationships with current and prospective partners, ensuring alignment with Unrest’s goals. Act as the primary point of contact for sponsorship and partnership inquiries. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, events, and program teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership agreements, including branding, content integration, and audience engagement. Performance Tracking & Reporting : Measure and report on the effectiveness of sponsorship and partnership activities, ensuring deliverables are met, and thus allowing Unrest to deepen partnerships. Provide insights and recommendations to improve future initiatives. Qualifications: Experience : 5+ years of relevant experience in partnerships, sponsorship management, business development, or sales within a related industry (e.g., non-profit, events, media, or tech). Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong business acumen and ability to create win-win scenarios for partners and Unrest. Proficiency in developing and delivering engaging presentations and proposals. Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure success metrics. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams/accounts simultaneously, with excellent organisational and project management skills. Other Requirements: A passion for Unrest’s mission and the ability to articulate that passion to potential partners. Strongly motivated by performance and by achieving target metrics. Compensation Competitive remuneration, combination of base salary + success fee/commission (total £60k - £90k). Why Join Us? This role is a unique opportunity to create a network of deep and expansive partnerships within a growing industry. As a key player in our growth, you will enjoy a dynamic, collaborative environment and have access to a network of innovative entrepreneurs, investors, ecosystem players, and corporates. Unrest will be the institution that launches the next generation of world-class brands, ones that are created for both profit and purpose, so if you’re looking to be a part of a diverse and driven world-class team, Unrest is where you can make a difference.
