Head of Sport and Leisure , you will play a pivotal role in delivering our local authority’s strategic priorities for leisure, supporting a bold 10-year vision for Salford. You will lead the development and implementation of initiatives that enhance the lives of our residents and position Salford as a leader in modern, sustainable leisure services. About You

We are looking for an exceptional leader who combines strategic vision with a passion for delivering outstanding sport and leisure services. You will bring: Proven Leadership:

Significant experience in managing large-scale sport/leisure/community services, facilities, or programs. Strategic Vision:

A track record of developing and delivering long-term strategies that drive participation and achieve results. Community-Centric Approach:

A deep understanding of how sport and leisure services can address community needs, tackle inequalities, and improve health and wellbeing. Partnership Skills:

The ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including public, private, and third-sector organisations. Innovation and Adaptability:

Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to emerging trends and challenges. Financial Expertise:

Strong experience in managing budgets, generating income, and securing funding for new initiatives. Commitment to Sustainability:
