JOB PURPOSE

This is an exciting time to join IWG. Our business is growing rapidly, and we are making significant changes to improve the sophistication of our analytics and how we leverage data and insights in our decision-making processes. The Strategy & Proposition team, and especially this role, is at the heart of this exciting transformation. You will report directly to the Senior Director, Strategy & Proposition and work closely with a Senior Data Scientist to support the Chief Strategy Officer and wider Strategy & Proposition team with actionable, commercial insights and recommendations to inform decision-making at the highest level of the business. Your insights and recommendations will derive from external market and industry data, as well as internally from data and analytics produced by the Senior Data Scientist leveraging IWG’s vast pools of transaction-level customer data. As Head of Strategic Insights, you will play a critical role in translating that data into insights that are understandable to – and actionable for – senior leaders. This is an individual contributor role who will regularly collaborate with stakeholders around the business, including significant exposure to its most senior leaders, so we are looking for an experienced professional, passionate about delivering change who is keen to take a hands-on role with significant business impact. This role sits within the Strategy & Proposition team, a central team that works across all business functions, tasked with identifying and realising key commercial and operational opportunities for the business. This is a great opportunity to join a market leader and make a personal contribution to our success. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be the organisation-wide expert on deriving commercial insight from complex datasets. Partner with the Senior Data Scientist and experts across Sales, Marketing, Product and other business areas to collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative commercial, customer and market data. Integrate market information into data analysis and insight activities, providing regular reporting on critical topics, e.g., industry trends and emerging market opportunities. Identify and fill key gaps in analysis and insight where real value can be added to the business. Develop dashboards across topics to enable teams to access, understand and use data insights. Work with the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Director, Strategy & Proposition to prepare CEO- and board-level materials that translate complex data into meaningful insights to drive improvement of existing products and inform the launch of wholly new global propositions. Support the broader Strategy & Proposition team with ad hoc analysis related to high priority initiatives. Represent the Strategy & Proposition team in cross-functional discussions on the use of actionable and insight in day-to-day decision-making across the business. Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organisation. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Strong academic credentials – at least a 2.i degree, from a top tier university. c.6-8 years’ experience in a combination of consulting, analytics or insights-focused roles. Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Proven ability to manage and deliver complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion. Extensive experience in synthesising market and competitor data from multiple sources into actionable recommendations that drive business growth. Expertise in delivering executive-level reporting and high-impact presentations that influence senior leaders. Demonstrated success in building and evolving dashboards, tools, and frameworks to support real-time decision-making. NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
