About The Role As the ‘Head of Strategic Partnerships & ANZ Engagement’ you will be responsible for developing and driving our strategic partnerships, with a priority focus on ANZ Bank, by delivering and demonstrating incremental value across joint business objectives. You will be involved in business development, account management, market analysis, and senior relationship management across business functions and stakeholder groups. You will also be required to have a handle on business development work across existing and new potential partners. You will need to support the existing Product Partnership model to ensure identification, onboarding and integration of partnerships in a repeatable, uniform and sustainable fashion. Your Focus Manage our ANZ bank account efforts to identify new mutually beneficial growth opportunities, negotiate commercial offer constructs, as well as fulfilment & delivery obligations. Develop the annual partnership strategy aligned to ANZ’s financial wellbeing strategy and business / partnership OKRs. Drive business development efforts to improve our performance across existing partnerships and to identify new ecosystem partners that enhance Cashrewards’ offerings and support market expansion. Understand / identify local market trends, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes. Use insights to inform partnership opportunities and business decisions. Manage and influence relationships within ANZ across varying levels to ensure the successful implementation of partnership agreements; including regular presentations at executive levels through to detailed instructions at the working group level. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for the ANZ partnership. Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership playbook for identifying customer engagement and rewards / offers solutions (in line with business objectives) – underpinned by a sustainable operating model. Collaborate with internal Cashrewards teams, to ensure partnership initiatives align with company goals and regulatory requirements. Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of partnerships. Monitor performance, analyse results, and optimize initiatives to maximize value. About You You will have extensive experience in partnership management and a deep understanding of the Retail Banking landscape. Deep experience in building and running partnerships – with emphasis on the Financial Services landscape, i.e. both account management and business development. Management Consulting or Professional Services experience who have heavy exposure to ‘Partnership Ecosystems’. Proven track record of building out a multifaceted partner ecosystem (integrations, migrations, services, etc) coupled with experience working with Product and Technology teams. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Persuasive communication, gravitas, and interpersonal skills across varying stakeholder levels. Commercial acumen including familiarity with key drivers to facilitate P&L results. Ability to pivot from high level strategy to the details required to execute it seamlessly. Cross functional leadership and influencing skills.
