Head of Supply Chain - Manufacturing
Location: Milton Keynes Salary: £80k to £110k A brand new role within my client has become available as they look to add a senior member to their supply chain team. You'll be working closely alongside the CEO of the business. As Head of Supply Chain, you will be pivotal in optimising supply chain operations to meet the demands of the growing business and be responsible for end-to-end supply chain management. You'll oversee the supply chain functions of the site in the UK and US, which will include travel to the US. The role will also involve managing the program management team. You'll be working within a fast-paced and rewarding environment. You'll be joining this company at an exciting time with a full order book, and they are breaking down barriers into new technology and sectors. They have experienced significant growth this year, with no signs of slowing down. This role involves working on a global scale with suppliers and contacts worldwide, from the US to Asia. You will lead a talented supply chain team of 15 employees, so strong management skills are essential. This is a strategic role where you'll be tasked with developing and implementing sourcing strategies to meet project requirements and company objectives. You will collaborate with world-famous brands in various sectors, including Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, MOD, and Marine industries. The company has a specially kitted-out workshop located conveniently just on the outskirts of Milton Keynes centre. This position will report directly to the managing director. Any engineering background will be considered for this role. You must come from a strong supply chain or logistics background with experience in working with ERP systems.
