We are looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Supply Chain to join our Management Team based in Old Portsmouth. In this senior role, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing supply chain strategies that support the company’s ambitious growth objectives. You will oversee the Procurement, Material Planning, Logistics, Inventory and Warehousing functions, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable processes that align with the company’s long-term vision. This position requires a strategic, proactive and hands-on leader to optimise the supply chain, deliver quality outcomes, and foster strong relationships with suppliers while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities will include: Strategic Supply Chain Leadership: Contribute to overall business strategy and planning, leveraging data insights and systems to support business goals Develop Subsea Craft’s Supply Chain Strategy: Design and implement supply chain strategies that are aligned with the company’s objectives of growth, delivery excellence and customer focus Team Leadership and Development: Lead, develop, mentor and coach the Supply Chain team to create a high-performance customer focused culture Drive a culture of continuous improvement that identifies and successfully implements process enhancements that result in efficiencies to delivery, reduce costs and mitigate supply chain risks Provide leadership and oversight to manage procurement (direct and in-direct), inventory control, warehousing and logistical requirements Supplier and Vendor Management: Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery reliability, and compliance, guided by data-backed evaluations. Risk Mitigation and Operational Excellence: Proactively identify risks and streamline supply chain operations, leveraging real-time data and insights for continuous improvement Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of previous experience in a Head of Supply Chain position Demonstrable experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management and production planning support Leadership and team management experience Analytical and problem-solving skills Defence sector experience would be beneficial Degree level qualification Note:

Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum Existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with Security Check likely for specific projects.*
